Your Choices and Opting Out
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Certain parts of our Site require cookies. You may adjust your device or Internet browser settings to limit certain tracking or to decline cookies, but by doing so, you may not be able to use certain features on the Sites or take full advantage of all of our offerings. Please refer to your device’s settings or your Internet browser’s “Help” section for more information on how to delete and/or disable cookies or to control your tracking preferences.
Our Site may not recognize “do not track” requests or headers from some or all browsers. We may use cookies or other technologies to deliver more relevant advertising and to link data collected across other computers or devices that you may use.
Analytics and Advertising Technologies
You have control over the types of ads you see and can opt out of personalized advertising. Here’s how you can manage your advertising preferences:
- Google Ads: You can manage your ad preferences through Google by visiting Google Ad Settings to customize the types of ads you see. To learn more about the data Google collects for advertising and to opt out of certain ad targeting by Google, please visit here.
- Third-Party Opt-Out Tools: You can also visit the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) website at www.aboutads.info or the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at www.networkadvertising.org to opt out of receiving targeted ads from participating companies and vendors.
- Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow you to control cookies and tracking settings. You can modify your browser settings to block cookies, delete browsing history, or set preferences for targeted advertising.
YOU MAY CHOOSE NOT TO RECEIVE SOME INTEREST-BASED ADVERTISING BY SUBMITTING OPT-OUTS. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT OPTING OUT ONLY MEANS THAT THOSE SELECTED MEMBERS SHOULD NO LONGER DELIVER CERTAIN INTEREST-BASED ADVERTISING TO YOU BUT DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL NO LONGER RECEIVE ANY TARGETED CONTENT AND/OR ADS (E.G., FROM OTHER AD NETWORKS). IT MAY, HOWEVER, RESULT IN LESS RELEVANT ADS BEING DISPLAYED TO YOU.
Email Communications
You may unsubscribe from our marketing email communications by clicking the “unsubscribe” link found in every commercial email we send, or by sending a request to unsubscribe to info@homegeniusexteriors.com, or writing to us at the addresses listed below. If you opt-out of our marketing email communications, we may still send you email messages related to your account or purchases with us. You should note that unsubscribing from our emails will not automatically unsubscribe you from emails sent by any third party, and you will need to separately unsubscribe from such third party’s communication, if desired. Unsubscribing from our marketing communications will not affect the level or quality of service we provide to you.
Text/SMS Messages
You have the choice to opt-in to receiving text messages and alerts on the mobile phone number(s) you share with us. Once you opt-in, we may send you recurring text messages (i) regarding your account; (ii) about our products, services, and promotions (including advertisements, sales, and special offers); (iii) appointment reminders and follow-up messages; (iv) to investigate or prevent fraud; and (v) to alert you in the event of an issue with any of your purchases. You do not have to opt-in to text messages and alerts to use and enjoy our Services or products. If you opt-in, standard text messaging charges may apply.
After you subscribe, you may choose to opt-out from our text/SMS messages and alerts at any time. To directly opt-out, reply to any SMS message you receive with the word “STOP”, and we will unsubscribe you from text communications. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list. If you opt-out, you will not receive any additional text messages via your mobile phone. Please note that your opt-out is limited to the device, e-mail address or phone number used and will not affect subsequent subscriptions.
Telephone Contact
To choose to no longer receive telephone calls from us with information regarding new products and services, please call us at 866-326-5681 and we will place you on our “Do Not Call” list. Although we may ask for your name, address, and telephone number, we will accept your request even if you only provide your telephone number. When we receive your request, the telephone number you provide is added to our “Do Not Call” list in 7 to 10 business days. If you subsequently subscribe to text alerts or to receive marketing calls, that will override the “Do Not Call” list.
Third Party Content and Links
The Site may contain links to third parties who partner with us. If you use those links, these third parties may collect information about you. We do not control third-party links or how these third parties collect and use your personal information. If you have any questions about their privacy practices, you should view their privacy policies and/or contact those third parties directly.
The Site also may offer you the ability to interact with social plugins from social media sites, which may allow us and/or the social media site to receive data from or about you. In some cases, we may know that you clicked on a social plugin, such as a Twitter Follow button, or received other information from social media sites. Similarly, if you have previously provided personal information to a third party operating a plug-in on the Site, then such third-party may recognize you on the Site. Your choice to use social network plugins and provide your information to them is subject to each social media site’s privacy policy, which may be different from ours, so please read these policies carefully to understand their policies and your options. As with linked sites, we have no control over the information that is collected, stored, or used by social network plugins, and are not responsible for the practices of such sites.
Children’s Privacy
Protecting children’s privacy is important to us. We do not direct the Site to, nor do we knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen. If we learn that a child under the age of thirteen has provided personally identifiable information to the Sites, we will use reasonable efforts to remove such information from our files.
Data Security
We have implemented technical, administrative, and physical security measures designed to secure your information from accidental loss and from unauthorized and improper access, use, alteration, modification, destruction and disclosure. Although we do our best to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, please note that no method of transmission over the internet is ever perfect or impenetrable, so we cannot guarantee absolute security of your personal information.
How Long We Keep Your Personal Information
We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain your personal information for the duration of any applicable statutory retention period and as necessary to resolve disputes and enforce our legal rights.
